The idea just came into my head of putting together a video compilation of people's renfaire tapes along with interviews, recollections, and anectdotes, under a single title:

I saw the British movie "Calendar Girls" this weekend and they had scene where there was a Biker Gang of Morris Dancers (one opf the dudes was cross dressed in a blonde shirley temple wig w/ big pink bow and frilly pink dress w/ petti coat and lace ankle socks.

I couldnt stop cracking up and the entire audience (aka: so. jersey...no one understanding WHAT a morris dancer was when I asked) had no clue why I was cracking up so hard.

You NEED that scene for is you EVER make a Morrid Dance video!!!!

That is SUCH a good idea!!! You should put something like that together. You could have the commentors be like Queen Elizabeth, or Henry, or any number of other notables of the period. Imagine Scott S. as Emperor Charles V commenting on the "fad" of codpieces. rotfl!
