The idea just came into my head of putting together a video compilation of people's renfaire tapes along with interviews, recollections, and anectdotes, under a single title:

I Love the 16th Century

Anybody who's 1) a faire regular, and 2) been watching VH-1 at all this past year, should understand.

That is SUCH a good idea!!! You should put something like that together. You could have the commentors be like Queen Elizabeth, or Henry, or any number of other notables of the period. Imagine Scott S. as Emperor Charles V commenting on the "fad" of codpieces. rotfl!
