Stranger Fruit: Touched by their noodly bile:
As a Christian, I follow Jesus for his teachings of love and tolerance; it is people like you who make me sick, I hope you die in a lake of fire and get your eyes pecked out by crows, so that you may go to hell and exist for eternity in a lake of fire getting your eyes pecked out by crows.

With love,

Charlie

Someone needs to double-check their dictionary.

"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Maybe I should use that as an all-purpose answer to everything.

Either that, or "Undead monkey."

Well naturally! Reading Matthew and then spouting stuff like that would be just too embarassing. (Honestly... I wonder if some of those folks have Bibles that even *include* Matthew!)

of course they do!

what do you think they are, Jewish?

its just the fact that Revelation trumps everything...it has to, doesn't it? its the last book and the best is always saved for last, right?

its never "science" that makes me doubt my faith. never.

Ah. This explains why the Mormons feel superior.

Hey, can we help it if we got more books to read? We keep trying to give the other "Christians" copies so they can have them, too; but they keep getting in a snit about it. :-)

By this logic, the truest religion would be Rastafarian. Or Branch Davidian. Or something.

I guess you (and they) picked it for its blatant hypocrisy, but what strikes me about it is: that is exactly the sort of statement many of my peers expect from any Christian.

Welcome to the 21st century, where racism is unacceptable, all Muslims are terrorists, and all Christians are vindictive hypocrites. ;)

as i wrote earlier on this thread, its never "science", "atheists", or "secular humanists" that make me feel i'm losing my faith...

Personally, I've never felt the idiocy of human beings has much of anything to do with God... which sums up a lot of what Jesus said in the first place. ;)
