Finally, it's important to remember that if Goonies 2 does get made, it would inevitably open the door for Flight of the Navigator 2. That would be a supremely bad idea on every conceivable level.

Except that it seems to be that Donner is more of a driving force behind it than any of the actors. It also seems to be a seperate thing from his Broadway musical idea for the story.

Personally, I put it in the same category as Ghostbusters 3, which Dan Ackroyd has been trying to get made for years.
