I'm almost of the impression that the only black and white these kids have ever seen has been Young Frankenstein and the commercials for Schindlers List.
Even Giligan doesn't count -- Turner and Co (TBS) colourized them all years ago...

Date: 2004-03-10 09:47 pm (UTC)Okay, don't shoot me! I feel like this is the only thing that was colorized that looks great! Of course, they had the original color palette to work from. Season One was the only one in Black-and-White. The other two were in color.
The other thing about the original Black-and-White prints of Season One...the theme song was slightly different. The first pilot (never aired) had two characters instead of the "Professor" and "Mary-Ann" so the song didn't mention them by name.
