yeah, they started their annual (well, i got lucky and they skipped last year) "lets make joe miserable" plumbing operation.

so yesterday, I got about 5 bags of cough drops, 1 bag of vit-C drops, two boxes of psuedofed, a box of decaf teas, a box of throat-coat teas, 2 cans of chicken soup, and a bag of mini-crousants from giant.

"bring 'em on."

Discontinue consumption of uncultured dairy products as well (if you don't already abstain from such things) - because I don't drink milk anymore I'm not allergic to cats at all.

if that means giving up cheese, forget it. cheese (and milk-based cheese-power things like mac-n-cheese) are far too much a staple of my diet.

no, this drainage thing i've had, i've had for years, LONG before i ever had a cat.

Nope. Cheese, yogurt, and other cultured dairy products are ok. For mac & cheese mixes, you just substitute rice or soy milk in for the regular milk. Uncultured dairy products cause excess mucus in the body - if you discontinue milk and substitute in rice or soy milk, you will reduce the amount of drainage that needs to occur. Butter should also be substituted with margerine - butter's another uncultured dairy product. The cat thing is my example of how well it works. Also, it's only cow's milk that causes this - goat and sheep milks do not.
