I just validated that deepest sender (the LJ firefox plug-in) works on insanejournal.  i'm there as acroyear70 (the trend has been set, so why change), but like others, it's just to reserve the name should things, well, change.

there are two plug-ins/extensions for LJ on firefox.

deepestsender is a plug-in that allows for quick-and-easy posting in a wysiwyg window. has a nice right-mouse-click for cut-n-pasting excerpts from other sites which is how most of my lj posts are posted.

ljhook is the other, which adds some features to viewing the friends page (like image controls) as well as some comment-posting conveniences.

none of these mean anything to internet explorer.
