I'd say the car rental place gave me a Japanese Tank (specifically, a Nissan XTerra), only I know my history.

This thing has better armor.

I do pity my gas bill if we opt to take this sucker up to Tux...

You actually in Jenkintown? I lived in Abbington for a summer ('89) while dad was stationed in NADC Warminster. Worked at Willow Grove Mall (the long gone Thom McAnn shoe shop across from the Sears) and used to bike back roads down to the hobby shop that was off old york rd (don't know if its still there).

I'm actually in Rockledge. But my PO is in Jenkintown. I work behind the Willow Grove Air Base.

The hobby shop just closed last summer. It's now a coffee shop.

no you didn't - i'd added that in response to the questions to answer it once rather than copy it a hundred times (not that i've gotten a hundred replies yet, of course). no need to blush. yet... (heh heh heh)

never got over to rockledge. occasionally my brother and i would go to cheltenham for a movie (we saw Batman 1 there that year), but that was the most traveling i did to the south and east of the house.

You didn't miss much in Rockledge. We are 9 blocks by 10 blocks big.. My SIL lives over by Penn State Abington and the Hospital.. But yeah it's a nice little neighborhood.
