GC -- Guitar Craft. A school of life (emphasised by guitar playing) started by Crimson's Robert Fripp after King Crimson 81-84 split up. Emphasises a new guitar tuning and other aspects of how playing affects life and vice-versa. A craftsman approach, based on discipline and building a practice.

Several of the "students" have gone on to being members of the California Guitar Trio and one, Trey Gunn, was in Crimson from 94 'til just last month (he decided to leave to do more solo work, Tony Levin is back in the group).
