Alice Cooper.

Needlesstosay, I'm quite content.

and it MORE than makes up for the sad tragedy of a show that was Leo Sayer 5 episodes earlier. :)

season 2 was the first to "resolve everything" and have no missing segments, and 3 has followed suit - utterly complete. i guess they realized that adding a mere $10 to cover the missing elements wasn't going to hurt sales (since season 1 just about sold out) and paid for the rest.

whether or not they produce a "season one missing items" bonus in a future dvd release remains to be seen. more likely they'll wait 'til season 5 is out and then curse us with a new release of season 1 to milk the money out of us...

My prediciton: In typical TV DVD fashion, they'll wait until all the seasons are out, then produce a complete series set, with complete season 1, and some other bonus stuff.

There was a huge outcry when this happened to the M*A*S*H set.

Wait, Season 2 has all of the rights? No missing moments?

And I'm six episodes in and I was still wondering what I was missing?

that's what everybody said at the time and for the few I have on tape from that season, I haven't seen anything missing yet (and plenty of things I hadn't had on tape, given the UK extensions).

my memories of it at the time (age 7) are vague, having stronger memories of the season 1 vincent price ep for odd reasons i can't totally explain (not least, that night i had my first memorable nightmare). it was, however, the first ep i taped off tnt post-college and thus i've known it well for a number of years.
