acroyearWell, preventive maintanance being what it is, as in expensive but cheaper than the repair bill, I'm out another $800 or so on the car. Its not bad, but continues to extend how long it'll take to finally pay off the credit cards once I do have a new job.
Hunt hasn't been going great, as for some reason none of the "big" companies who advertise in the 'post have bothered to call. One of the difficulties I think, besides not having a clearance yet, is that they probably think that with 10 years experience, I should have some leadership on my resume...trouble is, ISX was always a bit top-heavy to start with, so the opportunaties simply weren't there, compounded with the reduction in available work that was already leading to the layoffs...

At any rate, at 120000 miles, the CRV is already being cheaper in repairs than its civic predecesor was at that mileage, where I was shelling out $1000 or so every 5 months, so I'm not complaining on that at all...
