acroyearthe floor boards were cut and finally in place at 6pm (yes, that was non-stop working since 11 just setting everything up in order to be able to cut 2 boards to the right size and fit them in). they're now hammered into place, sanded down, and we're adding wood-filling to cap it off. let it dry, and WOW we can *finally* being actually doing what we were SUPPOSED to be doing since 11am yesterday.
painting supplies are consolidated. there's still touch-ups to be done but they're gonn have to wait or the flooring will never get done, furniture put back in place, and life resuming to something approaching normality before faire season rips it apart again.
at this point now, i have tomorrow off and simply nothing to do because i'm not doing the flooring alone. we'll see what happens. i may go to work and see if i can get wednesday off instead.
