Lee Abrams' Blog: NPR, PAUL'S DEAL, and YOUNG LISTENERS--HOW TO ATTRACT THEM...OR IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE? ...AND GUITARS:
On the other hand we need to be realistic that while we may remember when radio was the revered soundtrack to our generation, today’s younger person has NEVER heard a great radio station and the idea of broadcast radio being cool is unthinkable because of their condition and exposure to FM at its worst in the last 15 years.
Abrams is from XM Radio.

Minor tweak, that Springsteen vs. Cowell comparison is taken out of context, I saw that program and the discussion was which of them was more important to SonyBMG which I don't think is all that odd.

well, I do know he was just quoting the headline and summary article that the newswires 'cause it wasn't the first time i'd seen it.

the fact that the newswires could so badly misrepresent that statement as to be so easily misunderstood is something else.

on the other hand, these are all the same idiots who thought Lennon said the Beatles were better or bigger than God 41 years ago...
