Between the fire that almost destroyed RPFS (before REC did it anyways), and the floods that almost destroyed LARF, I'm kinda concerned that the 6 feet of snow that has hit the region where Sterling is located is heavy enough to be damaging to building roofs and ceilings.

Anybody got connections to find out?

Of course, that requires being able to get to/near the site which also may be impossible because of the snow and naturally having your own homes to worry about...

The faire seems to have survived this long, so I'm going to guess, that unless some trees take out a building or two, it'll survive. That kind of snow is not uncommon along the lakes in NY.

As a fellow survivor of upstate NY lake effect snows, most buildings just last. A testament to that is Fort Drum, built in a hurry for WWII, nearly abandoned between 1945 and 1980 and refurbished with minimal work on the older buildings for the Army's "Light Infantry" division.

It will prob be just like MD when we had that really bad snow storm. Some roof damage but most survives. Plus I don't think anyone can prob get in there right now with 6 ft of snow to check.
