uh, do you know the context? it was a phrase uttered in the "golf commentary" by Tom (Zach) Plott during the setup for the fireball at pub sing on sunday.
i thought it was hilarious...had to drop my stick and hold onto my beer w/ both hands lest i drop it too...
~blink~blink~ Tom Plott is back at MDRF? He was the entertainment director at OHRF the year I ended up leaving right before the start of faire to move to VA. Nice guy, from what I recall ...
Tom left Ohio to go back to work for IRF (MDRF's owners) as Entertainment Director for Ontario, basically taking over Carolyn's job allowing her to stay dedicated to MDRF during the spring and summer, consulting in a more "executive director" position from down here.
When Ontario's run ends, he returns to MDRF as an assistant during the rest of our run, helping Carolyn and Tim on the walkie-talkies while Carolyn's doing Skum. He's usually in garb as Zach Rackham or Dumbe Asse by 2pm, and supports Tim at Pub Sing.
Sigh... had to pass on Pub Sing on Sunday... though I wanted to stay and watch and chat a bit. Too much humidity and no breeze = tobacco smoke haze in that area.
I swear I miss all the funny stuff... At least this year, I'm hearing more of some of the amusing stuff that's going on afterwards.
