Sci Fi orders more "Superhero" episodes - Yahoo! News:
Sci Fi Channel has ordered an expanded second season of the reality series "Who Wants to Be a Superhero?"

The series features comic books legend Stan Lee searching for America's next great superhero among contestants who create a superhero alter ego, live together and compete in challenges. As with Season 1, the winner will again be immortalized in a comic book.

"Superhero" has been expanded from six to 10 one-hour episodes for its second season, which is set to air on Sci Fi in the summer.
Anybody wanna join me in escaping this stuff by hanging out @ dominion or sweetwater every thursday next summer? I don't think I can take 10 weeks of that...

One remedy for me has been BSG webisodes.

And tonight, when I ought to be packing my on-site bag and getting to sleep early, it's 2 hours of season premiere!

IMHO, Sci/fi is slowly going down the crapper. SG1 will be rapping up and I only like Atlantis so so. I can't stand Battle Star Craptacular with the oh so serious dialog and the shaky cam from hell. No matter what anyone tries, I'll never be able to like that series but at least it's not as bad as Lexx.

There are still a couple of shows that I like about the channel. Kate and I do enjoy watching Ghost Hunters because it's actually entertaining and we like the people on the show. I'm happy that they have been playing Dead Like Me. That's honestly the only things I can think of right now. If they keep playing Heros, that will make me happy.

I watched about 5 minutes of Who Wants To Be A Superhero and I couldn't believe what Stan Lee was doing. Yet another stupid reality TV show.

I actually liked WWTBAS. It's the only "reality" TV I'll actually watch. It's funny, there's no Survivor politicing to deal with, and let's face it, people really are idiots most of the time. Now they get to be superheros too.

What I want to know is why I've been seeing WCW wrestling on SciFi of late. WTF is that about? They also had Law & Order on over the summer. Again, with the WTF?

Show Babylon 5. More Trek. Hell, Robotech. Still plenty of good SciFi left to put on, and lot's of oldies too. Buck Rogers, anyone?

I actually REALLY liked that show.

It didn't take itself too seriously and was hysterical. Out of ALL the stupid reality shows out there this one was rather refreshing.

And I very much  Major Victory.
