i just had to inform all the top-level techies in the company (IT, support, development, testing, etc) that the JVM 1.5.0_04 we're distributing with most of our products is NOT compliant to the new Daylight Savings Time changes kicking in next year.

no, its the fact that I am extremely against this DST change, knowing damn well it's supported by a total lie ("it's good for energy savings") rather than the truth ("it's good for businesses and shops").

AND that I seem to be the only one paying attention to it at all...
