  • seeing Good Night and Good Luck on the plane when it wasn't scheduled: rocked
  • breaking laptop...ok, that sucked.
  • downtown disney italian place with guys making stretch-balloon stuff for the kids: rocked
  • a day driving [livejournal.com profile] faireraven through the parts of San Diego I used to hang in and/or lived in 25 years ago: rocked
  • rush-hour traffic up I-15 North: ok, that sucked, except...
  • seeing 6 F-18s come in for high-speed landings in miramar ("top gun"): rocked
  • telling Stone Brewery that they are appreciated 3000 miles away: rocked
  • finding "mini"bottles of my all-time (and no longer made) favorite scotch: rocked
  • dinner and beers with friends in the mountains: rocked
  • a day in disney with a few minor errors but otherwise: rocked
  • not being able to connect to my office vpn (which i needed to do to get my dr. whos): ok, that sucked
  • being able to bittorrent straight from this laptop: rocked
  • friends at a pre-wedding dinner: rocked
  • forgetting my cufflinks: ok, that sucked
  • improvising cufflinks out of "slider" pins and the twist ties that hold them to the package: rocked
  • wedding: rocked
  • reception: rocked
  • jazz kitchen restaurant in downtown disney: rocked except they can't cook a steak to "medium"
  • Cars: rocked.  and i don't even like racing.  OR country music.
  • (parents who won't control their kids in a movie theater: ok, they suck)
  • being able to socialize with friends we'd only just met: rocked
  • lost kids: ok, that sucks, except...
  • being able to recover lost kids to their parents before anybody gets hurt: rocked.  twice.
good weekend so far.

now, drinking beer so i don't have to fly it home.

Maybe we define "sucked" differently, but it sounded to me like even forgetting the cuff-links didn't actually suck. A bit of an inconvenience, yes, but resolved so BEAUTIFULLY!!!

I have to admit that I thought it was very ingenious. Not in the sucking range whatsoever! Plus, Joe looked very dapper in his full dress kilt.

Of course, when he came to my side of our "Sweetheart Table" to chat...the spoons started to hit the glasses (y'all know what that means). I don't believe I've ever seen Joe move so quickly backwards. Of course, he had the stunning [livejournal.com profile] faireraven to protect him from the insidious wedding guests! BIG GRIN*
