It turns out that most of those boxes that are meant to be taking pictures of toll-booth-runners (especially in the smart-tag only lanes) are actually empty and thus people have been running through the booths with impunity?  they won't get filled with real cameras for a few months from now, and they actually said that on WTOP, thus inviting people to run the booths.

sheesh...when you have something that revealing and inviting to criminals, mr government man, do yourself a favor and keep your damn trap shut.

You know, people who run tolls are pretty low on my list of criminals. It does matter, but I;ll be angsting about the murderers...

yeah, but they don't have the police telling them that their #1 weapon for catching the criminals isn't actually implemented and working...
