Wendy's is safe after all...
Apr. 22nd, 2005 04:33 pm(well, as safe as any fast food place can be)
The woman who claimed to have found a severed finger in her Wendy's chili was just arrested for grand larceny and attempted grand larceny, the second being the wendy's incident. its only "attempted" because wendy's hadn't paid her anything yet and she had dropped the lawsuit.
she has a history of complaints and lawsuits against restaurants. police interviews found at least 2 corroborated stories from witnesses who did not know each other saying that she had claimed to have done the chili-finger deed herself. her attorney in the original case is "no longer representing her".
so feel free to eat at wendy's and know that its not finger food... (ok, i'm running now)
