The research science community appears to becoming lazy too...by "researching" situations that even a well educated 8 year old could figure out.

read the article. this isn't just about how it pops, but what conditions are required at the molecular level in the casing that cause unpopped kernels to remain unpopped.

this would lead agriculturalists to better breed for specific traits and reduce the unpopped count dramatically.

for a while they only worked by general trends, not sepecific genetic signatures. now with the info on the shell itself, they can look for the genetic signature that causes it and breed for it specifically.

Yeup, already carefully read the article. In no way impressed and greatly disappointed. Science has manipulated more than they should when it comes to the "marketing" end of commercialism.

Continue to manipulate the basics and its ALL gonna blow up in our faces...eventually.
