Date: 2005-04-15 01:26 pm (UTC)by the time it got to 4 in a row, i was annoyed. partly that also came from dealing with my own html hassles with an oddball case (table->div tag with absolute positioning->table) that BOTH browsers (Mozilla and IE) screwed up on in exactly the same way (given that their table code is from different code bases, that shouldn't be possible).
by 4 in a row (out of 8 in a row, the first four were in lj-cuts because they had already seen the layout screwup) that was that.
i'm not a meme fan in the slightest. i find them boring, tedious, noise that greatly reduces the signal to noise ratio in ways that the rush "temples of syrinx" email list couldn't dream of reaching...ok, i guess you had to be there to get THAT reference ;-) .
i'd rather read what people think of themselves in their own words rather than filtered through what some 15 year old kid hacked up in perl in a fit of overnight boredom.
