This site very nicely collects dozens of stories of gay couples who have gone through absolute legal hell just to get any one of the hundreds (327, according to the New York Supreme Court) of rights that "traditional" married couples get simply by virtue of being married (with no lawyer necessary). It's focused on Wisconsin, but hundreds if not thousands of similar stories can be found for every state in this supposed "union".

Sep. 19th, 2006 08:30 pm...that the agencies that make commercials (and the record labels that own the rights to do whatever the hell they want with YOUR songs) have decided to have some American singer do a very shitty version of "In a Big Country", completely removing all of the spirit that you and the band put into it, all for the sake of some sale at Kohls...
