sick, too

attitude sometimes is the best weapon against getting sick. I held it off through thanksgiving, revels rehearsals, the revels run-through, a couple of mid-week dinners with a friend, a major work deadline in time for a in-house demo to a VP, and the annual foggy bottom winter gig in takoma park.

so now that i have nothing hanging over me that i *have* to be healthy for, i finally got sick.

bleh.

i so hate my sinuses.

Something powerful has been lost in the process, though: the knowledge that the Christmas season is a temporary triumph over the darkness of winter, rather than a surrender to false bonhomie or commerce.
