1. Describe the condition of your keyboard:typical.  now my nice keyboard @ work is wireless and beautiful and natural and just right (the only time i will *ever* say that about a microsoft product...on the other hand, the mouse sucks)

2. Can you sing, or are you always out of key? I sing well enough, and try to keep in some training/practice when my sinuses let me.  for faire this year, i'm trying to build up a vocal repotoire to counterpoint cyd's fiddle so that on rainy days (and pub settings) she's not carrying the group so heavily.

3. What keys do you carry with you? car, house, friends' house (only 'cause i haven't filed it away yet), and 1 key to something for which I have no idea what it ever was.  its a habit of mine; if i ever get rid of that key, like the thing my aunt gave me but i don't know what it is, a new key will have appeared on my chain eventually that i will have no clue where it goes to.

4. What is the key to personal happiness? not aiming for happiness, but contentment.  the former implies a state where nothing is wrong, thus, exceptions, expectations, and negatives always weigh down on it and prevent it from ever really happening.  to be content is to accept the negative sides as being necessary, but manageable.

5. What gets you keyed up? people who refuse to change their mind even after their logic is shown to be flawed or based on faulty assumptions.

and red lights.
