The Birthday Concert -- Blackmore's Night, Sep 14th!

Not just 'cause of them (whom i've wanted to see in person for years) but 'cause Owen Phyfe is the opening act!

So those who miss him now that he's not @ MDRF, come catch him at the Birchmere, September 14th. Outer doors open 5:00 for box-office and drinks at the bar. Inner doors open at 6:00 for dinner. Show starts @ 7:30.

I'll be there early.

Garb would be welcome (by both acts at that), but not required in any way.

how can you take stuff like this seriously?

A comment in another Bush has got to go posting: dont be afraid of those who stand by their convictions and have the courage to say that they have morals and believe in something.

yet another "duh"

the morgan-stanley commercial with the lady really hyping up the kid in sports, and it turns out she's not the mother, she's the college investment fund broker...

well, "duh", of course she's rooting for the kid. if the kid gets sports scholarships, then her company doesn't have to pay out and her commission will be through the roof.

...

i'm actually surprised it took 3 times of seeing the commercial to catch that.
