acroyearthe morgan-stanley commercial with the lady really hyping up the kid in sports, and it turns out she's not the mother, she's the college investment fund broker...
well, "duh", of course she's rooting for the kid. if the kid gets sports scholarships, then her company doesn't have to pay out and her commission will be through the roof.

i'm actually surprised it took 3 times of seeing the commercial to catch that.
