In particular, today I almost got clobbered as my CRV (not a terribly small car to start with) got surrounded by Explorers, Suburbans, and Expeditions, all coming through an on-ramp on US50 by Fair Oaks mall at about 50 miles an hour (when the traffic on the 50 itself was only doing 35-40), practically making it impossible for me to move into the exit ramp I needed. They basically refused to break until they had to, and then once on the road, gunned it to 60 mph within seconds before turning around and breaking again when they quickly caught up with the traffic doing the 40mph.

All that hurry coming through a cloverleaf ramp for nothing. Jerks.

Updated: At least the situation didn't include one of these pieces of junk in the middle of it all...

...that milk prices were going up faster than the gas prices, and not just because the gas price is affecting shipping costs?

I didn't...but I don't buy enough milk to notice...however, it means we're definitely buying smaller containers 'cause we're always throwing out spoiled milk around our fridge.

Mulberry trees were introduced into England by James I in 1606, to feed silk worms & thereby establish an indigenous silk industry to rival those of France & Italy. James chose the wrong kind of mulberry, the leaves of which silk worms didn't enjoy eating, and the about-to-be-becoming silk trade failed.

*sigh*
