  • variations on a theme -- The Corsairs (hint: same lyric, about 12 different tunes)

The Full Measure / Merry Minstrel was, of course, never recorded/released, but it was a hell of a show to catch @ the White Hart on Full Measure's final performance.

Some of the others do show my age around MDRF, of course...

as I posted here, without Ironweed, I possibly might not be doing the show I'm doing @ faire.

But I'm an old-timer now (not as old as some, of course), having just finished my 10th season working for the faire in some capacity or another.

Officially, I've been part of Three Left Feet (1995-1999), Charm City Rapper (1998-2002), Morning Musical Merrymaking (2000-present), Irish Music and Dance with the Ditties (2000), Pub Sing (1999), Twelfth Night (2004), and Cat & Fiddle Morris (2001-present). Unofficially during all that time, I've performed with the Rogues, Ironweed, Washington Scottish Country Dance Society, various stages shows as an understudy for a village dancer, and the Pub Sing.

:::giggles::: It's easy to know Craig a loooong loooong time. He's older than dirt...I get to say that, as I am as old as dirt, and he picks fun at me too.

But, yeah...we're familiar with Ironweed as well. I remember a time when there was no "Skivvy" in the Pyrates Royale, but there was an "Ironweed". I even have a pic of Craig singing with us just for fun before he actually joined the band.

in hindsight, i now think that if there was room for *one more song* in the hidden extras list, i'd throw in Desdemona from Lost Boys.
