I asked my boss if the following would be ok for a .sig file quote:

"Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable. Let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all."

seeing as how it perfectly described the gung-ho attitude we're adopting for rushing the next version of the product through development and out the door. he didn't think the HR people would appreciate it...

though he at least said it was funny. (btw, its a Douglas Adams quote, I think from a Dirk Gently book.)

...had he not already been concerned over my last .sig quote, "Well, this is only temporary...unless it works." (Red Green) which perfectly described the first batch up updates to the product line when I first got here.

I just can't win.
