acroyearis not Hoover Dam, and I'm not sure if they intended it to be interpreted as such (we'll know next week).
it is Glen Canyon dam, at the end of Lake Powell (formed by the dam) in Utah. Also a national park property (a national recreation area, much like Lake Mead is at Hoover), and is still part of the Colorado River.
