Mormons and the Manhattan Islamic Center : Dispatches from the Culture Wars:
"Religious tolerance would be a shallow principle indeed if it were reserved only for faiths with which we agree." - Mitt Romney, 2007

"Governor Romney opposes the construction of the mosque at Ground Zero. The wishes of the families of the deceased and the potential for extremists to use the mosque for global recruiting and propaganda compel rejection of this site." - Mitt Romney's spokesperson, Eric Fehrnstrom, 2010
I guess religious tolerance is a shallow principle. Can't refute logic, you know...

this is more the specifics a Mormon singling out Muslims and saying they should abide by the wishes of the majority (of bigots), legal rights be damned. and this is after he himself cited praying Muslims as a strong inspiration for him in his own faith in that same 2007 speech.

He's a liar and a hypocrite and a demagogue and his faith means nothing to him other than yet again, just as when he said an atheist should never be President (showing just where he stands on the "no religious test for office" clause), he's perfectly willing to discriminate against other beliefs when the popular opinion warrants it. Like McCain, he'll say anything to get elected.
