Slashdot Apple Story | iPad Review:

I managed to get my hands on a 32GB unit and put it through its paces for a battery charge and a half, and wanted to take a few minutes to share some notes with you. But if you don't care to read the whole review, let me give you a hint: I am typing this review on my laptop.

Husband got his on Saturday. His complaint is not being able to read e-books from the library on it because of DRM issues. Otherwise he's in love.

Me, I'll wait a couple of generations. At least.

it was the web reaction that i expected - more flash out there than people realize, and/or sites that served up iPhone pages (or worse).

we've really been coding the web all wrong, in terms of handling browser differences, but even a "right" way to do it runs into problems that it has become impossible to do right.
