There's a book called "The Annotated Alice", that goes through and adds notes to all of the references (Victorian, local, familial, mathematical, and more) to Alice in Wonderland / Looking Glass.  Looks cool and I'll probably pick it up.

What's odd, though, are BN's "Customers who bought this also bought..." list:

• The Annotated Wizard of Oz
• The Annotated Brothers Grimm
• The Annotated Christmas Carol
• Alice in Wonderland Coloring Book
• Lolita

We have the Annotated Alice, actually - picked it up at a library book sale for when Rob got older. (And for me, of course.) It's quite interesting, and goes into a lot of the mathematical, cultural, and political references rather nicely.

My favorite ever "also bought" suggestion was buying textbooks off Amazon years ago. I got a "Customers who bought ____ also bought: Cheap flights to Costa Rica."

I'm sure the book was probably something Latin American related, but it was so random...
