acroyearFascinating: in 1972 when the series was made, he could show the interior of Cheyenne Mountain (its interior is unmistakable if you know what you're looking for), but couldn't explicitly name it, instead calling it under "Omaha, NE" rather than Colorado Springs where it really is, several hundred miles away. Basically, they were passing off SAC-Offutt AFB as if it was Cheyenne in order to hide the fact that the REAL facility (that everybody knew existed by simple logic) wasn't where it really was. Not to say that Offutt wasn't and isn't important, only that they were still hiding Cheyenne at the time, 37 years ago.
