Not one, but TWO got it wrong
Feb. 6th, 2004 05:07 pmAladin has been given the go-ahead and the PR is in motion for it to join Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, and Lion King, as part of the annual "Platinum Series" of DVDs.
All good and well.
Except not a single news story has gotten that list right. Two have left off Beauty entirely, with one of them replacing it with "Alice in Wonderland" which is not part of that series of releases.
*sigh*
How hard is it for the media to check their facts before going to print?

Date: 2004-02-07 06:48 am (UTC)I do recall Slim Goodbody, as after some time as an independent he got contracted to contribute segments to the late-70s Captain Kangaroo in its final CBS years (also the years of Cosby doing Picture Pages). When PBS picked up CK, Slim's stuff didn't make the transition; I know his stuff today shows up on rare occasions as filler for kids programming in some places, but I don't watch enough kids stuff to notice.
