i'm still a retail (semi-)impulse shopper who believes that as long as we keep increasingly buying online, the more empty warehouses and retail shops we'll have that decrease the value of the neighborhood and eventually lead to retail collapse.

i only buy online when (like with An American Christmas Carol) there's no retail way to get it because the distributor isn't making enough copies to spread them out all over the country. an acceptable decision for smaller material like, say, prog-rock cds (and eventually the only way for classical music to be sold given the ever-shrinking retail market for it).

but for something that f'in' mainstream? I expected better...
