Here's the best of my shots from 1998, captioned and everything.  i figure nobody's done much of the late 90s except diego's '99 and '00 pics.  Crappy quality, 'cause all I was working with were one-shot cameras from kodak, and scanning technology sucked back then, too.

Freakin' WOW. What in HELL was my hair doing so damned short? I look like a LITTLE KID fer Chrissakes. Oh yeah, I remember --I was working for the Federal Leviathan at the time. Sheesh, it's a wonder the Meadwench gave me so much as the time of DAY.

Also in that first picture, the owner of the intensely skeptical look to my immediate right is noelfigart, known to some as the Dread Pirate Noel.

no - it really was called "The Romancers" - it was a musical, though i can't remember who was playing the music off to the side. might have been bill and cathy, as it was before we got thomas tallis doing stuff.

it was a variation on the R&J / P&T theme, but as i said, with a happy ending. the parents on each side were both widowed as well so they too were talking romance over the wall.

Sometimes I think I’m too cut-off to really feel anything about Fest anymore—then something like that pops up. Romancers was my favorite show at Faire. Tee was a doll to work with, and I loved having Glenn as a director. Joe Shelby is one of the sweetest gentlemen ever, and I am flattered that I get a mention in his journal ;)
