grilling experiments...
Jul. 12th, 2007 09:33 amLast night,
faireraven asks for fish. I'm, like, "ok".
So last night we had what Sweetwater Tavern always has as its "fish of the day" (don't ask why they don't bother to just go ahead and put it on the menu 'cause they always have it). I pulled out a couple of mahi-mahi filets (from a fish variety pack from Omaha Steaks), marinated them in melted butter, a little minced garlic, and Emiril's Fish Rub, grilled 'em up, and it tasted good enough that I didn't feel the need to drown them in tartar sauce.
experimentation fun.
