Working with Oracle in general sucks. It sucks a bit less if you have TOAD, but it still sucks.

for a while they weren't shelling out a license for toad and toad removed just about every useful feature from its free version.

so i quit.

i use the sql explorer extension in firefox, sql worksheet plus when i'm writing functions (sqlexplorer didn't like the sql code in it for some reason), and this to format and clean up the code before storing it in the repository and oracle engine (for a proc/view/func)
