update on officemate's cats

Both were in the neighborhood.

One has been recovered fine and is back inside safe.

The other is still in panic mode and skittish, but hovers around the area.  She won't come close to people, but she's been at least approaching the food they're leaving out for her.

When officemate's a little more relaxed about it, I'll ask about disease concerns.  They're young enough that they should be up to date on feline leukemia vaccines.

I'm glad that they seem OK. If one of 'their' people were to sit outside and read aloud, would the one likely come up and be caught?

I agree on checking on vaccines, worms, etc..

I take it that they were not normally indoor/outdoor cats and that some moron who was 'watching' them didn't? If so, the cost of check-ups should be covered by said moron. If you take the responsibility for caring for someone's house/pet/whatever, you should be responsible. Sometimes bad things happen but for both cats to get out is worrisome.
