to tell me i hurt my foot this weekend.

a spot behind the middle toe next to the ball, probably hit some rough ground in one of the dances near the info booth.  with the trees gone, there's a lot of sand in some places and thicker real dirt in others making for very mixed footing...

Be very careful of that spot: it is the same place that I had surgery to correct Morton's neuroma. Make sure you've got even more extra padding in your shoe next weekend
(MN: a thickening of the nerve in the space between two bones, not actually a tumor. It takes a while to heal, and needs to be rested. It gets worse if it is repeatedly reinjured -as happens when the bones themselves are more heavy than normal, in my case, due to pronation and a bunion...)
