My oven door, when open, tries to kill me. Poorly insulated and swings up to burn my forearm way too easily when I reach in to pull out casseroles. Those are lovely burns. And the whole singed hair thing is really pleasant.
(and of course I've got to share that my first "silly thought".. after the ouch part... was "Hey, at least you've got plenty of handkerchiefs to wrap around it, Morris Dancing and all :-)"
