for those who know about these things, i'm not going to the Ozrics show on thursday.  have spent too much money as it is recently, and the beerfest this weekend takes out this week's allowance.

plus, the Foggs have a gig that I should go to.

Oops. This totally blew by me. I haven't been listening to them as much lately though. The last show I saw (State Theater) left me vaguely underwhelmed. I'll get the next CD, but will probably skip the shows for a little bit.

well, they've had yet another round of major line-up changes (including Jon leaving), so it would be a somewhat different beast entirely. its kinda become "The Ed Wynne Band" according to some. i'm willing to give it the benefit, but this tour won't be the time for me.

the last show i saw at state was better than the previous state theater show, but not as good as funkbox (or whatever that's called now). something about the state theater just doesn't work for them in my opinion, for me at least. maybe its the white walls that simply eat up the lights and blur it all together.
