fighting a losing war...
May. 25th, 2006 01:52 pmthe nearest 5 Guys to me has stopped serving unsweetened ice tea.
the nearest Popeyes to me *might* stop serving unsweetened ice tea - today they had sweetened (mislabeled, meaning i didn't find out until my taste buds exploded at the HFCS overload). it *might* have been a mistake in shipping, or they may be changing and just didn't change the label. I don't know yet.
*Both* places, mind you, have "lemonade" *right next to the tea*, meaning someone can make their own crap-called-tea right there just by using the two fountains together....
BUT NOOOOOOOOO
*sigh*

Date: 2006-05-25 10:00 pm (UTC)I've not been a drinker of the mainstream beverages for eons, and that is why i travel with what i like. I've even started carrying my own hotpot in order to be SURE i get hot water that doesn't taste like coffee for making my tea in the mornings.
Seems like unsweetened tea isn't all that much to ask, since people like tea in so many different ways!
