His "request" would halt a very powerful and significant line of research into Down Syndrome.
It also goes without saying (but a bunch like me are saying it anyways) that his supposed commitment to improving science and maths in the higher grades runs completely contrary to the proposal that Intelligent Design be included in nationwide curriculum...
