I found my tea!

A suggestion to follow after my rant about how pre-packaged unsweetened ice tea was impossible to find has panned out. The "Kettle-brewed Unsweetened Ice Tea" from Trader Joe's is excellent, and will certainly satiate me for months and years to come in my war against High Fructose Corn Syrup.
Yeah, it took a while, but I finally got to the one here in Reston and found it. Many thanks!

Date: 2006-01-23 08:16 pm (UTC)i didn't see any 0-caffine bottles/jugs there when i looked.
what i CAN say is that when i gave up HFCS (and a 2 coke-a-day habit, 300 calories of pure tummy blubber daily) i kept my caffine levels constant through tea and coffee...and i *still* had the shakes in my hands for about 3 weeks. it wasn't the caffine that was making me antsy, it was the fructose.
Completely random

Date: 2006-01-24 03:08 am (UTC)Toss the bags and cold water into a jar (or pitcher), shove it in the fridge and *usually* overnight (24 hours at the most) you've got ice-tea that doesn't have that icky bitter taste. Red Rose is almost sweet, in fact.
