one marathon viewing, from beginning to end, of the Lord of the Rings Extended editions.  (with occasional breaks to keep the laundry going ;-) ).

i figure the ring to be destroyed precisely at midnite tonite, giving one last half hour to watch before falling asleep tonite, well satisfied.

i've been wanting to do this for years...

well, between a few stops for lunch and stuff, didn't quite get the timing on. instead, Minas Tirith was saved (and the ghost army released) at 1156.

still, i managed to do there was i've never done with star wars. trying to watch the star wars original trilogy in order and i'd always fall asleep at the yoda scenes after jabba the hutt was defeated... :)
