ok, lets go through this again, 'cause just like last year, this
year's busy and every weekend has reasons for people to come visit.

Aug 23/24: Opening Weekend, "Kids Weekend". This year shouldn't quite be the "something big is missing in our lives" weekend is was last year, but instead the "hey, this new guy's a vet now, we better watch out for him" weekend. Summary: lots of friends will be there.

Aug 30/31/Sep 1: Labor Day, Shakespeare weekend, Three Day weekend. Also "seniors day" monday. Hot. Damn Hot. Well, except the year Dennis came to visit. Summary: lots of friends will be there.

Sep 6/7: nothing in particular. Even hotter than Damn Hot. [note: Cyd & I are not performing this weekend, due to the MS Challange Walk]. Still, its faire, so lots of people here show up. Summary: lots of friends will be there.

Sep 13/14: Scottish Weekend. Men in Kilts. LOTS of men in kilts. Cope. Summary: lots of friends will be there. In kilts.

Sep 20/21: Pyrate Invasion Weekend. Corsairs, Crimsons, Royales. Watch your wallets. Summary: lots of friends will be there.

Sep 28/29: Nothing much. Traditional MDRF invasion weekend for the last 3 years, so many friends will show up that weekend even if we *don't* call it invasion. One reason is that the late-fall faires (CRF, TRF) start the next weekend or two, so its the last chance to get out. Summary: lots of friends will be there.

Oct 4/5: Oktoberfest. Not my fav weekend in the run (and my first attending in about 3 years). Still, people show up just to laugh at the people who show up. Summary: lots of friends will be there.

Oct 11/12: Columbus Day weekend. Lots of people have 3 days off and show up to enjoy the really nice weather...mind you, getting into Annapolis is a pain due to annual boat shows and conventions. [Cyd & I won't be there due to SCA and Morris commitments]. Still, the colors in the trees usually start changing, and people can wear nice
heavy stuff and not melt; both the site and the people look awesome...Summary: lots of friends will be there.

Oct 18/19: Closing weekend. Saturday: Dani-nvasion. Sunday: Day of Wrong. Summary: lots of friends will be there.
