PZ Meyers: Since this is a holiday that should exist, I hereby declare 22 December to be Cephalopodmas (Squidmas for the layperson). Everyone should have a nice seafood dinner, exchange gifts with a molluscan theme, and play tentacle games with your loved one. I'll plan on sitting down with the whole family to watch The Calamari Wrestler ^{(amzn/b&n/abe/pwll)} together.

This morning, I get an email from The Architect, sent from his cell phone. Seems he's in Torquay, at a family wedding.

Email 2 comes about a half hour later "Can't find parking. Running late."


Email 3 came about an hour later. Subject: Help

"Atheist trapped in building with people waving their hands in the air as they sing."

My reply: Picture them all being eaten by Cthulu.

And then, you post this.

It all makes so much sense now.
